It's no secret that Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of Mystique in the famous superhero franchise, "X-Men" has helped her become famous.

However, during the premiere of her movie "Serena" in New York, the 24-year-old actress revealed to MTV  that "X-Men: Apocalypse" would be her last movie for the series.

"It is my last one, actually. Yes," the Oscar winning actress said smilingly.

While fans would surely miss Jennifer Lawrence in future "X-Men" movies, it's been noted that together with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, their contracts were only for three films.

Meanwhile, It's not only Lawrence who's leaving the franchise after "X-Men: Apocalypse," he co-star and ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult is also confirmed to leave the series.

The 25-year-old English actor told E! News that "Apocalypse" would be his last movie portraying Beast.

"This is the last one I'm signed up for," Hoult revealed at SXSW.

While the upcoming "X-Men" film would be his last according to his contract, Hoult admitted that he would love to play the role of Beast more in the future movies.

"The first one did so well and [Days of Future Past] got received so brilliantly," Hoult said. "It's like, Wow, people really want to see the films and the best thing is it's a great crew and cast to work with and he's a fun character. I have a good time playing him so I'd keep making them."

"X-Men: Apocalypse" which is directed by Bryan Singer will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult will be joined by Channing Tatum (Gambit), Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler).

While Lawrence is busy with her movies, her friends are allegedly affected with her new relationship with "Coldplay" frontman Chris Martin.

"The Oscar winner has purposely been toning down her goofy persona and her social life since she started dating the Coldplay frontman," a source told Celeb Dirty Laundry.

"Chris is conservative, especially in social settings and it has rubbed off on Jen, who is learning to keep some things private."

While Jennifer Lawrence's relationship with Chris Martin was never confirmed, it's been said that the two are taking things seriously and the changes that the actress is showing have bothered her friends.
