Drew Barrymore is about to become a mother and while she waits to hold her bundle of joy, the actress says she has engaged in some winemaking.
The 37-year-old, who is expecting her first child with hubby Will Kopelman in June, opened up to Haute Living about being on the baby way.
"I can't wait until I have my children," she tells the mag, providing some revealing tidbits about her laid-back parenting style. I love the idea that they don't have to do something that they have no interest in, that they can do something completely opposite if they want to," she shares.
"I will be so surprised if they don't want to do something involving food or wine or art, but I'll be OK with it. I just want to build fun, great things for my family."
Barrymore has also been busy working with a wine distribution company. She recently launched her own vino label, Barrymore Wines. And she also seems to have already hit it out of the park-one of her bottles just scored a gold medal at a competition in France.
"We went to Italy, we went to our vineyard, our bottling plants, we tried a lot of different wines," the "Never Been Kissed" star explained. "I'm very leery of celebrity culture... I wanted to put it out there because wine is about tradition and family. Putting your name on something and having no idea how it came about if someone else did all the work- that's not me."
"I want to do it all," she says. "I love film, but I also love wine, food and traveling. I would love to be a travel writer. I'd be so stoked."
