Xiaomi Mi 4i Spotted At Singapore’s IDA, The Upcoming Mid-range Phone Could Be The Codenamed ‘Ferrari’; See Leaked Specs And Features Here

Xiaomi is all set to its scheduled Global Mi Phone Premiere event that will be held at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi on April 23 which will be attended by CEO & Founder Lei Jun, President & Co-Founder Bin Lin, and VP Xiaomi Global Hugo Barra, NDTV reported.

With Xiaomi's announcement on Twitter "i IS COMING" draws speculations that the Apple of China is set to launch the Xiaomi Mi 4i on the event as the Mi4 has been reportedly unsuccessful in terms of its sales in India, BGR added.

The Xiaomi Mi 4i has been spotted by MyDrivers.com Singapore's Infocomm Development authority (IDA) database as well as on GeekBench over the weekend.

The GeekBench listing revealed that the purported Xioami Mi 4i runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.65GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM.

It is also interesting to note that the purported Xiaomi Mi 4i's specs are quite similar to another Xiaomi smartphone codenamed "Ferrari" which also appeared in benchamark listing last month.

Xiaomi codenamed "Ferrari" has a 4.9-inch full-HD display that renders a 1080x1920 resolution and a nAdreno 405 GPU. It pulls off a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 4.8-megapixel front snapper, and 16GB of built-in storage. (via NDTV)

The Xiaomi Mi 4i with its inferior specs compared to the original Mi4 might come with a cheaper price tag. The Mi4 was launched two months ago in India at Rs 19,999.

Meanwhile, according to Android Headlines the another upcoming Xiaomi smartphone, the Mi Note Pro, has been certified in TENAA (China's equivalent to the FCC). It also rumored to be announced on April 23.
