With barely a month left before hitting theaters, the new "Pitch Perfect 2" trailer revealed some more dramatic details about the sequel.
After winning more trophies and prestige, the Barden Bellas' head right into the world acapella championship thinking that they can beat out any contender. In their quest to prove the whole world wrong, however, it seems that they also lost their own identities.
In order to get their voices back, they have to go on an acapella boot camp. Will they be able to get their original groove back not just to win but to remember who they were before all the drama?
Will the Bellas get their voices back before they lose their own identities?
Meanwhile, the new "Pitch Perfect 2" trailer featured some interesting songs in the video.
Towards the end of the clip, K-Pop group BIGBANG's 2012 hit single "Fantastic Baby" started blasting out, partnered with shots of Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow and the rest of the cast having fun.
The electro-pop song had more than 140 million views since its release. Listen to the whole song here.
According to E! News, other songs featured in the teaser include Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" as well as A Tribe Called Quest's "Scenario."
E! News also reported that fans will also hear songs from Destiny's Child and Jessie J.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that real acapella groups such as the Grammy-winning quintet, Pentatonix as well as Filharmonic will be making an appearance in the film. Both groups first became known from the NBC singing competition, "The Sing-Off."
With all these surprises coming out, the sequel looks like it's going to be something to look forward to.
"I keep telling people that it's going to be a little crazier," Snow previously announced at the 2015 MTV Video Awards before unveiling the new preview.
Skylar Astin will return as Anna Kendrick's love interest. Aside from reprising her old role from the first film, Elizabeth Banks also directed the much-anticipated sequel. Anna Camp and Hailee Steinfield are also joining the madness.
