Fall is in the air and the savory flavors of steak, cheese and Sourdough are on the menu at Jack in the Box restaurants. Beginning today at participating restaurants, Jack in the Box is offering a Sourdough Cheesesteak Melt. The new sandwich is piled high with sliced steak, grilled onions, fire-roasted red and green peppers, and melted cheese, topped with a mayo onion sauce and served on the chain's signature Sourdough bread.

"Our new Sourdough Cheesesteak Melt is a great choice for our on-the-go guests who crave something other than a burger," said Peter Tremblay, division vice president of brand strategy for Jack in the Box Inc. "The combination of steak and cheese on our signature Sourdough bread creates a sandwich that is filling and very affordable."

Sourdough is one of several different kinds of breads served at Jack in the Box, which features one of the most varied menus in the fast-food industry and one of the broadest selections of breads among major burger chains. In addition to Sourdough, Jack in the Box offers assorted bakery buns, grilled artisan bread, biscuits, croissants, a pita made with whole grains, and a maple waffle bun.
