'Arrow' Season 3 Episode Guide: Oliver Will Struggle With His New Identity; Team Arrow Gets Disbanded?

Apr 24, 2015 11:47 AM EDT | By Rolly Gacelo

According to "Arrow" season 3 episode guide for next week, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will now start the rigorous transformation to become the new head of the demon.

As what was scene last episode, Oliver decided to accept the offer of Ra's al Ghul to become his heir following the death of Thea. In exchange, the Starling City vigilante's fallen sister Thea will be resurrected through the use of Ra's' miraculous Lazarus Pit.

Although Oliver Queen has what it takes to become the next leader of the League of Assassins, his transition might not go well. Embracing the dark side might have negative effects on his body and mental health.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim sat down for an interview with Comic Book Resources shortly after last night's episode. One question asked was about how 'morally stable' will Oliver be after joining the league. Guggenheim said this question will be answered right from the first few minutes of the 21st episode called "Al Sah-him."

"[Episode 21] answers that question pretty definitively. Even the opening moments of 21, quite frankly."

Oliver Queen had a hard time turning himself from a killer vigilante into a morally-bound Starling City hero. Him killing again would definitely not sit well with his friends who helped him change for the better.

With the Emerald Archer and their de facto leader now gone miles away, will Team Arrow continue their operation? Guggenheim teased in his "Arrow" season 3 episode guide for next week that their hideout might be absent for a while. The better news is people will get to see more of Palmer Technologies owned by Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh).

"They're going to end up hanging out a great deal at Palmer Technologies. We had to expand Ray's workshop to allow for scenes with a large group of people. That basically is the lair for the remainder for the season. That said, you haven't seen the last of the lair yet. It makes one final appearance in 21."
