Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight is dubbed as the biggest of the decade, or of the century as what other media outlets say.

However, this mega bout might also turn out to be the biggest sham, at least if it is former WBO champ Oscar De La Hoya that you will ask. The Mexican fighter, nicknamed "The Golden Boy" was particularly skeptic about the third man chosen to oversee the fight.

Kenny Bayless was selected to referee the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight. His resume says a lot though why he was chosen. He was the third man for seven of Manny's fights and four of Pretty Boy's including the one against Oscar De La Hoya.

"I think it favors Mayweather, absolutely," De La Hoya told Yahoo Sports.

"If you notice every fight Mayweather has had with Kenny Bayless, the referee should break them up if both hands are tied up and they're not throwing punches."

De La Hoya explained why he was pessimistic about the chosen third man in the Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight by using the American fighter's meeting against Marcos Maidana a few years ago.

"If you notice, for instance with Maidana, when they got in close, right away Kenny Bayless would break them up."

De La Hoya battled both Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao and in both instances, he lost. Versus Mayweather, the most lucrative at that time, the Mexican fighter lost via split decision to lose on the World Boxing Council light middleweight title.

Against Pacman, De La Hoya lost via technical knockout when he asked officials in the ninth round to stop the match because he can no longer continue.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight is on May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena with the two fighters expected to earn a combined $300 million. Tickets for the match hit the market a couple of days ago and in just one minute, they were sold out according to reports. That is despite tickets' expensive prices ranging from $1500 to $7500.
