The CW's "Containment" trailer looks like another promising adaptation in the heels of Venezuelan soap opera-based "Jane The Virgin."

Based on Belgian series "Cordon", the new virus outbreak series focuses on a mysterious but deadly flu outbreak in Atlanta. As part of the CDC's damage control, an area of the city is quarantined. This will separate both infected and healthy residents from their loved ones.

It also puts the soldiers, doctors and other officers working on the quarantine at risk of a virus that is still unrecognized by the government. Unlikely heroes will rise up within the society that the quarantine created, protecting each other from dangers of the deadly virus.

With Julie Plec as the main producer of the new show, it's no surprise then that viewers quickly recognized familiar faces in the CW's "Containment" trailer.

Chris Wood, who was known as Kai in "The Vampire Diaries", is recognizable as one of the officers who gets stuck in the area. Claudia Black was last seen as the evil Dahlia who wanted to absorb Klaus' daughter's power in second season of "The Originals." In "Containment", she plays the head doctor handling the entire quarantine.

Another familiar face from "The Original" is Elyse Levesque (the witch Genevieve), who was the first doctor to get infected in "Containment."

David Gyasi ("Interstellar"), Trevor St. John ("The Bourne Ultimatum"), and Kristen Gutoskie ("Restless Spirits") also star in the upcoming show.

"Cordon," where "Containment" was based off of, ran for just one season in Belgium. Will the American version also get the same fate? Given the flow of the story, curious viewers of the CW's "Containment" trailer, who also watched the Belgian show, speculated that it would also follow the original series.

Julie Plec reportedly penned the script for the premiere, while co-producer David Nutter directed the first episode.

The CW also released first look teasers for other new Fall TV shows, including superhero series "DC's Legends Of Tomorrow" and comedy musical "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend".
