Nadya Suleman ‘Octomom’ Cleared Of Sexual Abuse and Child Neglect Charges

Oct 13, 2012 04:39 PM EDT | By Staff Reporter

Nadya Suleman has been in some hot water recently when two former nannies went to police and made allegations that she neglects her children and they even witnessed her older children sexually abusing the younger ones.

The Orange County D.A.'s Office has rejected all allegations against her by her former nannies, including an allegation that one of her children was sexually abused, according to TMZ.

It all began on Thursday when CBS2 in L.A reported that two nannies who worked for Suleman said they witnessed child neglect and sexual abuse in the family's former La Habra house.

The nannies, who spoke anonymously, said that Nadya Suleman used to tie her eight newborns to their beds with cheese cloths around their waists to keep them getting loose.

They also claim Suleman blocked a door with a chair from the outside for hours because she didn't want the children to bother her while she napped. Photos obtained by TMZ several months ago show a chair blocking a door in Octomom's home, but Suleman claimed the children had an exit and were never in danger.

"None of the allegations are true. This is a woman who became obsessed with the children and contacted me to help her write a book," Gina Rodriguez, Nadya Suleman's manager told the Daily News Friday.

"Her and the other woman claiming to be a nanny also are good friends and are trying to make money.  This is why Nadya chose to move far away. The woman has been stalking Nadya, calling the kids and texting Nadya threatening text messages that she would go to police unless Nadya brought her the children."

La Habra police conducted an investigation into the claims but were shut down by prosecutors Friday.

"We received the case this morning for review, and based on the information we received, we found insufficient evidence to prove anyone committed a crime. We rejected it," Susan Schroeder, spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney's Office told the Daily News.
