Ryan Murphy has been teasing his newest TV creation for several months now, but the new "Scream Queens" trailer offers something new to the plate - several first looks of the show's high-profile characters.
The most notable is a glimpses are of "Problem" hitmaker Ariana Grande looking frightened as well as a nearly unrecognizable"Glee" star Lea Michele in a neck brace. It also shows "American Horror Story" alum Emma Roberts in different kinds of fur coats with her various Queen Bee faces on. Original scream queen, Jamie Lee Curtis also stars as the fictional Wallace University's dean.
The "Scream Queens" trailer also gives viewers a glimpse of the Red Devil Killer scaring the crap out of Roberts' character, sorority head Chanel.
According to Vulture, Fox promised at least one death every week. Murphy also reportedly revealed that the Red Devil Killer, who will be wrecking havoc in the school, is actually one of the already named character.
Who do you think the Red Devil Killer is? Could it be Jamie Lee Curtis? After all, her character was previously described as one of the people vehemently against the university's Greek system.
However, it looks like the cast isn't privy to that juicy detail yet. Even Roberts has no idea who the culprit is exactly.
"It is similar to '(American) Horror Story' in the sense that where everything is kinda kept really secret, you never know what's going to happen," she previously revealed to Entertainment Weekly. "I had dinner with Ryan, just him and I, and he still wouldn't tell me!"
Meanwhile, the upcoming horror comedy is getting mixed reviews. Some are very excited for another Ryan Murphy franchise while some are less enthusiastic. Io9.com thought "Scream Queens" is ridiculous but admitted that "there is no way in hell we're missing this schlock fest of tropey horror gags. "
On the other hand, USA Today's Entertain This! will gave the new "Scream Queens" trailer an A. The new show will premiere on Fox this Fall.
