There were reports a few months ago that Darren Cross a.k.a. Yellowjacket will be the main villain in "Ant-Man." The latest trailer gave the viewers a first glimpse of Corey Stoll's character and he hinted a design of a certain suit that will give great power to the smallest of fighters as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Some people were convinced that Darren Cross is the enemy of Scott Lang, but new reports revealed that the real villain could be Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). According to Movie Pilot, the size-shifting genius could be manipulating Paul Rudd's character into stealing the Ant-Man suit from the alleged villain.

"Michael Douglas always has a sort of villain vibe about him, he really seems like the kind of guy who could set up such an elaborate plan for evil," the website correspondent reported. "I love Michael Douglas's ability at playing a Villain type role. He is able to bring intelligence to the role that is just outstanding."

Another hint that Hank Pym will be the new villain in "Ant-Man" is the new Lego set made for the film. The toy collection featured a sinister looking suit for Michael Douglas' character and he joined the other villains in the film including the Yellowjacket. In the new trailer, we also get to see the villain for the first time and he seems to know who Ant-Man is which means that the bad guy could be the 70-year-old actor's character.

"Hank Pym being the true villain would be a twist I think would not only be awesome, but it is what the film could need," Movie Pilot reported. The rumors on Michael Douglas' role as the new villain in "Ant-Man" were explained by Bad Ass Digest. According to the website, Hank Pym is rumored to be the new villain since he has the Yellowjacket for quite some time and he also had different superhero identities.
