‘Heroes Reborn’ Cast Signs ‘Orphan Black’ Alum Dylan Bruce! Did He Sign Up As A Hero Or A Villain?

May 29, 2015 11:52 AM EDT | By Pam Amantiad

He may have left the "Orphan Black" family but Dylan Bruce won't be disappearing from the small screen for good. He will be joining the "Heroes Reborn" cast this Fall!

It's not a surprise that no additional information about his casting was reported by Deadline seeing as the plot for Tim Kring's reboot has been kept tightly under wraps for months.

It's still unclear whether his character will be equipped with a superpower or not. He could be one of the EVOs (people who have superhuman abilities) or just a normal person. It's also still unclear if he will be one of the heroes or the villains of the series.

Regardless of his role in the upcoming show, ScreenRant believes that Bruce's addition to the show was "a smart move by NBC". He impressed viewers as Major Paul Dierden in "Orphan Black", which will surely bring in fans to "Heroes Reborn".

IGN previously reported that new "Heroes Reborn" cast member Zachary Levi could be the series' villain. It's still unclear if his character, Luke Collins, is just a normal person on a vendetta against EVOs or if he's an EVO who is resentful of his powers.

Meanwhile, NBC released a new still off of the upcoming show, SuperheroHype reported. This time, it featured "Boy Next Door" star Ryan Guzman on podium, seemingly delivering a speech to a group of people.

"I couldn't help but smile for a while," the site quoted the actor as saying, adding that he still has to be "secretive at the moment, but I can say I'm living out a childhood dream in the character I play on TV."

The "Heroes Reborn" Twitter page previously released snaps of returning character Noah Bennett (Jack Coleman), as well as Luke Collins (Zachary Levi) and Miko Otomo (Kiki Sukezane).

Other "Heroes Reborn" cast members include Masi Oka, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Greg Grunberg who will be reprising their roles as Hiro Nakamura, The Haitian and Matt Parkman respectively. Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green will also be joining the cast.

Watch out for the new NBC show this Fall.
