'Jane The Virgin' Season 2 Will Bring In The Ex-Wife That ‘Broke Rogelio’s Heart’! Will He Love Being A Grandfather?

Jane's parents, Xiomara and Rogelio, tied the knot after a drunken night in Las Vegas during the finale. How will they start their married life in "Jane The Virgin" season 2?

According to Mexican actor Jaime Camil, the legitimacy of his character's marriage to Xo is actually still unclear to him.

"Rogelio - he's married now. I don't know if the marriage is legit, or if legit, how Jennie will develop that," he told Hollywood Reporter about the twist.

In a previous interview, writer Jennie Snyder-Urman shared that Jane's parents won't be thinking about their sudden wedding when "Jane The Virgin" season 2 starts.

"They have to have obstacles, and I think they both, at different moments, feel different ways about that marriage," she shared. "Obviously, it's not what they're going to be dealing with right away because right away everybody's dealing with getting the baby back."

However, after they retrieve Mateo from Sin Rostro- which Snyder Urman assured would happen early on in the season - they will have to address the issue.

"There are different feelings involved on both sides, and then we're also going to be introducing Rogelio's first wife into the equation, who... cheated on him and was his first true love. That's going to complicate things," the show's head writer continued.

Camil confirmed this upcoming plot line to the Hollywood Reporter.

"There's a (first season) scene where Rogelio gets mad with Xiomara and tells Jane, 'it starts with a kiss and continues with a tabloid picture of your ex-wife getting out of a famous rapper's trailer," he shared recently. "That's the character they're bringing back, the one that broke Rogelio's heart."

Will this new development break Xo and Rogelio up for good or will it make them realize their true feelings for each other?

Meanwhile, his first wife won't be the only thing that will eat Rogelio up. According to Camil, Jane's very vain father will have "a very hard time referring to himself as a grandfather, as he has a thing with age."

"Jane The Virgin" season 2 will air this Fall on the CW.
