One of the first few "Daredevil" season 2 spoiler is out.
Hell's Kitchen is about to get a new vigilante as Jon Bernthal has been cast as "The Punisher."
Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) can either have a new enemy or ally with the arrival of the gun-wielding former military man who is not afraid to kill or get killed. With more and more vigilante around, Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) will have his hands full.
Lost in The Punisher talks is Dawson's character who for many times has helped The Man Without Fear in his journey to clean up Hell's Kitchen.
Dawson is sure to comeback for "Daredevil" season 2 but how big her role will be? Will Ms. Temple continue working behind shadows or will the next "Daredevil" season 2 spoiler talk about her getting a more dangerous job?
In an interview with Yahoo! TV, Rosario Dawson said she still does not know what is next for Claire Temple.
"I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes, because her eyes have been opened up to this other world - and she's crossed the line," Dawson tells MTV. "You know, this is someone who helps people, and she's been violent now but seeing the need for it. I think there's a lot that she's having to grapple with, and I think that's what's exciting about using this show to explore street-level characters: it makes it that much more closer to us."
"I have no idea how they're wanting me to come back or in which way, shape or form," Dawson said, "but it's nice to know that I've got a character who does kind of string everyone together and bring all those worlds together."
As for having The Punisher around and possibly clashing with Matt Murdock, Dawson said it will be a more tensed season 2 since the Daredevil is not that different from Frank Castle.
"That's going to raise the stakes so much more, because Matt Murdock almost behaves like the Punisher in the first season," she said. "[Matt] crosses the line quite often, so it's going to be really interesting to see how they differentiate them and where that goes."
