A few weeks after the rumors came out; the 26-year-old actress was spotted carrying a brown paper bag that has her boyfriend's name written on it. According to Mail Online, Emma appeared to be letting everyone know that she and Andrew did not breakup. She seemed calm and didn't even try to disguise the paper bag that has the 31-year-old actor's name on it.
The website's speculation was correct and this was confirmed by Emma Stone during an interview with the Wall Street Journal. The "Birdman" actress also confessed why she doesn't like talking about her relationship. "Once you start responding - once you're like, 'No, that's not true' - then they're like, 'Well, if we push enough, we'll get a comment, so let's see what else we can make up.' I understand the interest in it completely," she said, "because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it."
Emma Stone also admitted that she didn't turn around the paper bag with Andrew Garfield's name on it because she wanted to play with the paparazzi. "When I picked up the bag, I was like, 'This is kind of funny if there are any paparazzi out there,'" she shared. "There's probably some rebelliousness that comes out in me after all these stories and people texting you for weeks about something that, for the most part, is not true. But even when it's false, I would rather just let it be false."
