Is The ‘Fantastic Four’ And ‘X-Men’ Crossover Movie Happening? Josh Trank’s Cast To Reprise Their Roles In The Sequel! Will Channing Tatum Appear As Gambit?

Fans of the Fantastic Four and X-Men may finally see these two superhero groups team up in a crossover movie. The rumors started a few months ago when Sony's emails between Amy Pascal and Columbia's Michael De Luca leaked online.

In the leaked email, De Luca wrote that he has learned directly from Simon Kinberg that Fox is working on an "X-Men" and "Fantastic Four" team-up movie.

According to The Daily Beast, he suggested that Sony plan something similar with their "Spider-Man" property - namely linking together a new Spider-Man movie, the female-led Spider-Man movie, Venom, and Sinister Six for a eventual mega movie.

The website also revealed that the most logical explanation for why Fox hasn't announced a full future slate of comic book movies like what Marvel Studios did was because they're not 100% sure that they are going to greenlight the idea just yet.

Latest reports from Latino Review revealed that the "Fantastic Four" and "X-Men" movie may push through if the reboot will be a big hit and the sequel in 2018 won't be a disaster during the production stage.

They also reported that there's a huge possibility that they will retain Josh Trank's cast which is headlined by Michael B. Jordan as The Human Torch, Kate Mara as The Invisible Woman, Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, and Jamie Bell as The Things.

Since the new cast of "Fantastic Four" will most likely appear in the crossover film, then could that mean that the new cast of "X-Men" will appear in it? If that's the case, then who among the star-studded cast which include Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Michael Fassbender, Sophie Turner, and James McAvoy will appear in the crossover movie?

Apart from these actors, there's also a huge chance that Channing Tatum will appear in "X-Men: Apocalypse" which will be released a few months earlier than "Gambit."

According to Screen Rant, the "Magic Mike XXL" actor is confirmed to star as Gambit and the script is currently being penned by Joshua Zetumer (RoboCop) which means that he is also likely to be part of the "Fantastic Four" and "X-Men" crossover movie.
