'You're The Worst' Season 2 Release Date, Spoiler, And More: Buying Adult Things Will Be A Problem For Gretchen

There is no "You're the Worst" season 2 release date yet but the lead couple, alongside with their friends, already have a confirmed "date."

Gretchen (Aya Cash) and Jimmy (Chris Geere) decided to live together in last season's finale. When the show starts, they will start dealing with that decision but for Gretchen, things will not be that easy.

Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams was asked for a "You're the Worst" season 2 spoiler and she gifted the fan with a scoop about a date similar to the wacky 'Sunday Funday' lead characters had in the first season.

Although this date is supposed to be fun, Cash's character will feel a little different because of her and Jimmy's new set up.

"Never too early! Jimmy and Gretchen have not weaseled out of the season finale events and are, in fact, still living with each other," Abrams told the fan who asked for "You're the Worst" season 2 spoiler.

"I know this because I got the lowdown on a special outing-no, not Sunday Funday. Taking a tip from Robin Sparkles, the foursome are headed to... the mall! No seriously, I hear there's an entire episode where they all head to their local mall. Jimmy is searching for literary inspiration, while Edgar and Lindsay are a little more practical on the hunt for wings, of the chicken variety. But Gretchen faces one of her toughest challenges when she attempts to buy adult things, like a toothbrush."

The fan should have asked for "You're the Worst" season 2 release date though.

In previous scoop from series creator Stephen Falk, he said "You're the Worst" season 2 is not supposed to be entirely funny. Instead, it will get darker. This could lead to assumption that that 'toothbrush' ordeal of Gretchen has deeper meaning in it.

"This season gets weirder and darker. We are going to be tackling a BIG issue and it's not an issue that's necessarily funny; it's kind of the opposite (laughs)," Falk said during the ATX Festival panel last month.
