It's not a secret that First Daughter Malia Obama wants to pursue a career in film production. She even worked as an intern for Halle Berry's CBS drama, "Extant," last year. It seems that she's still pursuing that dream.

Page Six spotted the 17-year-old on the Brooklyn set of HBO's "Girls" last week talking to helmer and actress Lena Dunham. They were spotted hanging out in front of Aurora Ristorante on Grand Street.

Although the entertainment news outlet didn't specify what exactly Obama was doing at the raunchy HBO series' set, other media sites like US Weekly and Elle reported that she was actually working on the show.

"She's a fan, and she mentioned that to Lena [Dunham] when she came to the White House," a source reportedly told US Weekly. "I'm not sure how long she'll be interning for. It's a bit of a trial thing for her. They've known each other and discussed for a while. Lena and her get along great."

TMZ further reported that the president's eldest daughter's PA duties included fetching coffee for the cast and crew as well as keeping the public out of the filming set.

Parents of the First Daughter Malia Obama have been supportive of her interest in the film industry. According to The Hollywood Reporter, her stint as a production assistant on "Extant" was kept top secret by The White House. The show's crew was reportedly "sworn to secrecy" until the then 16-year-old finished her internship.

"I've spent their lives raising them to be independent, confident young women who are ready to build great lives for themselves, and education has always been at the foundation of the messages we have in our household," her mother, the First Lady Michelle Obama previously shared to Entertainment Tonight about raising her daughters.

Meanwhile, US Weekly also reported that she will be graduating from Sidwell Friends School and was reportedly looking into New York University, Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley. She also checked out her father's alma mater, Columbia University.
