Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards may be having a very long engagement, but it's not because they don't love each other enough to dive right into matrimony.
The former One Direction member proved how much he adores his fiancé recently with a romantic surprise celebration for her 22nd birthday!
The "Black Magic" singer previously told KISS FM that she was already aware of her man's surprise for her special day but she didn't know what it is exactly.
"Zayn has a big surprise for me for my birthday," she shared. "He's sent me my outfit, he sent me my shoes and he's sending a car so it's all pretty exciting."
Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards promptly posted a couple selfie that night. She also uploaded a photo of what looked like a special candle-lit dinner. MTV News even thinks that night looked like part two of One Direction's "Night Changes" music video.
However, it seems that Edwards would have been more excited for the after-dinner activities. According to Mirror, the Bradford Bad Boy satisfies his newly-turned 22-year-old girl in the bedroom!
"I was asked what was better sex or food. I'm just saying I'm a lucky girl - it's got to be sex hasn't it?" Edwards reportedly told the Sun.
Mirror further reported that the couple had just purchased a six-bedroom mansion just outside of London recently.
"They're engaged and need somewhere they can both call home - and this house is it," a source reportedly told the news site.
Once they start living in their new home, they would definitely have more time to pass up food for some extra under-the-sheets action in the new house. After all, Edwards did mention previously that wedding preparations have been put on hold because of their busy schedules.
No matter how excited fans are for Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding to move along, however, the decision to set the ceremony is still in their hands. For now, followers of both singers will have to make do with the adorable couple selfies that they upload in their social media accounts from time to time.
