Comedy Central's Kroll Show Inspired New 'Orphan Black' Clone; Series Creator Talks About 'Mystery' Coming In Season 4

"Orphan Black" season 4 cast could either lose or retain one of its members. Delphine (Evelyne Brochu), who instantly endeared to fans when she first appeared in the first season, was shot in the finale of the third season.

However, it is yet to be confirmed whether she survived the attack or not. While a fan favorite is in danger of saying goodbye to the show, one more loveable clone is expected to be seen more often.

Krystal, who is of course also portrayed by the ever brilliant Tatiana Maslany, has been added to the new regular clones for fourth season. "Orphan Black" season 4 cast, rather clones, will get bigger. Krystal, is a manicurist who still don't know anything about her origins. She was kidnapped by the military and was put in Rachel Duncan's place to fool Neolutionists.

Krystal and her innocence easily won the audience. How did the show came with the idea of creating Krystal? Tatiana Maslany said the new clone is a rip off from Comedy Central's Kroll Show.

"I don't think we [initially] knew Crystal was going to be a [long-term] thing - we thought she was just going to be a one-off deal," the "Orphan Black" season 4 cast said during the show's appearance at the Comic-Con.

"[The writers] were like, 'Oh, that's cool - let's make that into a character," she added. "The fun thing was trying to find her humanity and bring her to the ground a little bit more."

Another topic brought up in the interview is whether Brochu will remain part of "Orphan Black" season 4 cast. Series creator Graeme Manson earlier said that anybody can die and Delphine is not an exception.

He said the same thing during the weekend but added there is a mystery that is about to rule the show's fourth season next year.

"Nobody's safe on the show, but she's Orphan Black dead," co-creator Graeme Manson said.

"It's great - I love that you're all up in arms about it," he said. "It's a mystery, guys. There's a reason why there's a mystery."

"Orphan Black" season 4 release is yet to be revealed.
