Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have been dating for more than five years now and it seems that they are ready to take their relationship to the next level.

There are rumors that the couple may get engaged this summer as the songstress confessed that she's ready to get married.

During an interview with New Zealand-based radio talk show ZM, the 22-year-old singer shared her feelings for her 35-year-old boyfriend. "I am very, very in love with him," Demi admitted. "I think we'll probably wait a little bit longer, but if he asked tomorrow, I'd say yes."

Many people doubted the relationship of Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama because of their huge age gap.

"I was 18 and he was 30 so people were definitely judgmental and even my parents were kind of, 'Why is someone his age wanting to date someone so young?'" she explained as reported by Us Magazine.

"And after a while everyone around us started to see that what we have was real and incredible and very special, and we've been together ever since. Obviously my family loves him [now]. People kind of stop doing that because you can see when we're together or even just from our Instagrams that we're very sweet to one another," Lovato added.

Despite their busy schedule, the "Really Don't Care" singer and the former "That 70s Show" actor manage to spend time together and support each other's career. Demi shared a photo of her with her boyfriend snuggling at the backstage.

"My love... Always supporting me on set... At 4 am even if he has to get up to work at 8," she wrote on Instagram.

A few months ago, there were rumors that Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were already engaged and their friends were not that surprised about the news.

"Wilmer's so good for her and Demi's madly in love with him," an insider told OK! Magazine. "They've been to hell and back and emerged stronger than ever."
