Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were married for 11 years that's why many people were surprised when the actor filed for divorce because of irreconcilable indifferences.

According to Mail Online, the 48-year-old actress was caught by surprise when the 53-year old actor said that he wanted a divorce. She had a miscarriage back then and begged her husband not to go, but he pushed through with his decision.

During an interview with Vogue, the Aussie beauty finally had the courage to speak up about her marriage with the Hollywood superstar.

"When I was with Tom, I don't remember paparazzi sitting outside our house ... not like now. This is different," Kidman said as reported by TooFab. "We're the generation that got to duck all that."

Five years after her marriage with Tom Cruise ended, Nicole Kidman walked down the aisle again with Keith Urban. The couple currently lives in Tennessee and has two daughters, Faith and Sunday Rose.

"I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him," she said. "But I didn't. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious." Does that mean she regrets getting married to the "Edge of Tomorrow" actor?

New reports revealed that the Church of Scientology orchestrated the divorce of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise. The HBO documentary "Going Clear" revealed how the organization caused the breakup of the "Eyes Wide Shut" co-stars.

It also showed there how the church manipulated their children to go against their own mother claiming she was an "SP" (Suppressive Person) and "PTS" (Potential Trouble Source).

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman have two adopted children, Connor and Isabella Cruise, who are both members of the Church of Scientology.

When Vouge's interviewer Jason Gay asked the actress about the documentary, she refused to talk about it. "Kidman passed on the opportunity to speak to the makers of the film and has consistently turned away requests to comment out of respect for her children with Cruise," Gay said.
