Meredith Vieira dropped the S-bomb on live TV Thursday as she co-anchored the "Today" show for Hoda Kotb.
As Meredith Vieira sat in for Kathie Lee Gifford, she dropped her cue cards and let slip the word "oh s***" before realizing they were back on air.
Vieira held her hands over her mouth in shock as Kotb burst out laughing and co-host Al Roker sitting on a nearby chair raised his hands in the air proclaiming 'Yes!'
The gaffe quickly spurred a barrage of apologies from Vieira, who implored, "Oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."
A few seconds later, a bleep came on, to which Kotb quipped, "A little late for the beep."
Surprisingly, this isn't the first time that the classy host let a curse word slip on live TV. In 2010 Vieira was filming a segment about a driving simulation when she let the curse word fly after crashing.
