Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have officially announced that they are filing for a divorce, but not many people know that their marriage had been messed up for years.
A statement was released by their representative a few weeks ago,
"This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."
The 39-year-old TV personality and the 31-year-old country singer didn't reveal the reason for their divorce, but cheating scandals started to emerge.
A few days after the couple announced their divorce, Blake Shelton's alleged mistress Cady Groves started posting cryptic messages on social media; hinting a relationship with "The Voice" coach.
"I never quit loving you-you just ran. Isn't that what they teach you love is? One loves the other more and therefore holds the power to virtually murder the other. After all these years- it's you. Always was: always will be," Cady wrote on Twitter.
During a recent interview with InTouch, the 25-year-old singer revealed that she had sex with Blake for at least a year, but he broke her heart.
Cady also claimed that the singer's marriage with Miranda was over a long time ago. According to Hollywood Life, she still cares for the "Lonely Tonight" hitmaker despite their breakup.
"After four years of being apart, I wouldn't hurt him the way he hurt me. When you love someone, it doesn't matter if they run over your heart with a truck and shoot you in the face - you forgive them. I want to lie to protect him," Cady Groves confessed.
In a separate report, Miranda Lambert cheated on Blake Shelton with not only one but five men. According to Star, the singer had affairs with at least five men while she was still in a relationship with her husband. "Miranda's secret double life is the reason Blake abruptly ended the marriage," a source revealed. "It wasn't the fairytale they portrayed."
