Many people were shocked when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their divorce last month.
However, the real reason for their breakup remains unknown not until recently when the actor's cheating scandal emerged. According to Us Weekly, the 42-year-old actor had an affair with their 28-year-old nanny.
Christine Ouzounian was hired by the Hollywood couple to take care of their children Violet (9) Seraphina (6) and Samuel (3). The website also reported that the nanny and the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star were secretly dating.
"They would hang out without the kids," Christine's pal revealed. "And they were very flirty."
Upon finding out about Ben Affleck's cheating scandal, Jennifer Garner terminated the nanny.
"When they got back to LA, Jen heard about their trip without the kids and flipped out. She fired Christine right away and Ben did nothing about it," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"Christine's upset and has met with attorneys to file a wrongful termination suit against Jen. In truth, Christine would rather be Ben's girlfriend than nanny. She has strong feelings for him and wishes he wanted a relationship," their source added.
In a separate report, sources close to the former couple revealed that the nanny was fired because she was not doing her job and the actor didn't have an affair with her.
"Ben is absolutely not dating anyone. There is nothing physical or romantic between Ben and Christine," an insider told E! Online.
"Dating is not his focus and it hasn't been his focus throughout the separation period. He was tired of Jen's negative energy and constant berating - but that does not mean he cheated," a sourced explained.
The website also reported that Christine Ouzounian was the one who informed the paparazzi to take pictures of her with Ben Affleck, and this pissed off the actor to the point that he may seek legal action.
