Jeffery Dean Morgan, who played the Winchester brothers' father in the first few seasons, recently expressed his desire to join the "Supernatural" season 11 cast.
Since the upcoming season has been touted as a time for Sam and Dean (and perhaps Crowley and Castiel) to come to terms with their past issues, could other beloved characters appear once again?
A lot of the fans would definitely want see their favorite cast members as guests on the show, just like how Bobby Singer was dragged out of his comfy room in Heaven to help the boys break out Metatron in season 10.
Aside from John Winchester and Bobby Singer, Moviepilot's list included several beloved characters like the fan-favorite mother and daughter Ellen and Jo as well as the other Winchester brother, Adam, who is still trapped in the Cage with Michael and Lucifer.
It would also be great to see Lucifer, Cain and the trickster archangel Gabriel on the screen again. And although he did come back for a bit in the 200th episode, Chuck Shurley's return would be a pleasant surprise for fans, as would a sighting of Kevin Tran next season.
