With fears that the Disney live-action "Mulan" film could suffer the same fate as "Avatar: The Last Airbender," netizens made their own list of possible Asian actors that would be perfect for the job.

While "Fresh Off The Boat" star Constance Wu has been getting some buzz, E! News reported that Twitter users were adamant that Ming-Na Wen, who voiced the original character, should just reprise her role instead.

Meanwhile, Buzzfeed's dream casting consisted of Godfrey Gao as Li Shang, Russell Wong as Mulan's father Fa Zhou, Benedict Wong as Shan Yu, Tzi Ma as the Emperor, and relegated Ming-Na Wen to become Mulan's mother.

As for the mischievous dragon Mushu, Jackie Chan's voice should reportedly be perfect for the job. After all, he already gained experience in voiceover work when he lent his voice to DreamWork's "Kung Fu Panda" as Master Monkey.
