Fans were thrilled when they saw the new advertisement of Nike Jordan because it seems to be a teaser to "Space Jam 2," which is a sequel to the 1996 film that starred Michael Jordan.

The ad was called "The Dunk to End All Dunks" and it starred Blake Griffin, Marvin the Martian, and the out of this world Jordan Super Fly 4.

In the video, Los Angeles Clippers' star player had a dunk showdown with the Looney Tunes character. Griffin was no match for the Martian not until Bugs Bunny arrived and handed him the latest Jordan model.

According to CBS News, the shoe colors are black, green and orange, obviously a throwback to the original movie poster.

The Nike advertisement was produced by Warner Bros. which was the same studio that created "Space Jam." There were reports that the production company filed new trademarks for the Looney Tunes animated film and this was shared by Capital New York's Alex Weprin on Twitter.

Many people thought that LeBron James will be replacing Michael Jordan in the sequel because he has been honing his acting skills by appearing in films such as "Trainwreck."

The Cleveland Cavaliers player also signed a deal with Warner Bros. which means that his fans will see more of him on the big screen.

"If it's the right script and it's authentic to who I am then I'm not afraid to show my face on camera and try it," he said as reported by Hollywood Take.

The 30-year-old professional basketball player also explained why he's exploring the film industry.

"Connecting with my fans and telling meaningful stories have always been my passion," James confessed. "And I've always loved movies, which makes Warner Bros. the ultimate partner to help us continue to push the envelope. I can't wait to see what we come up with."

During a Twitter Q&A, LeBron James was asked if he will be working on "Space Jam 2."

"Maybe.......Guess we'll just have to wait and see. #LooneyToonsRock," the NBA legend teased his fans.

So there's a huge possibility that LeBron will be taking over the role of Michael Jordan and Ben Griffin could be one of the basketball greats that will appear in the film just like in the first movie.
