It's been a victorious couple of weeks for fans of "Supernatural star Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
Not only did the Winchester boys get together to shoot for new episodes of the decade-long series, they also opened their own personal Instagram accounts, to the delight of their league of die-hard followers.
Padalecki, who openly spoke about his battle with depression, thought opening an account in the photo-sharing site would help him be more connected to fans.
He also wanted to use the social media site to expand the reach of his "Always Keep Fighting" campaign.

"My first Instagram post !!! After y'all got behind the #AlwaysKeepingFighting campaign in such a big way, I wanted to find ways to stay even closer to yall. So... Why not start instagramming?! Will try do this thing properly," he captioned his first ever photo.
In the photo, he looked like he just finished filming some intense scenes for "Supernatural." The actor has since posted two more photos on his page.
"Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki started the campaign last March, a couple of months before suffering an apparent bout of melancholia. He was in "desperate and urgent need" of his family that he had to cancel some appointments and fan meetings at that time.
The "Always Keep Fighting" campaign has been selling shirts online with the proceeds going to charity. The star has also been working hard to help others who are also battling clinical depression.
Fans showed their support to Padalecki when they surprised him with a tea light vigil during the San Diego Comic Con last July 11.
"This is so touching and humbling and honoring," he emotionally shared after seeing the 7,000 lights in Hall H. "I don't have the proper words to say thank you or how humbled and honored and excited I am and keep it up, guys. Thank y'all so much."
Meanwhile, his on-screen brother also joined the Instagram fun. Jensen Ackles even enlisted his adorable two-year-old daughter, Justice Jay "JJ," to help him "squash some posers."
