"Dance Moms" season 5 finale saw Abby Lee Miller storming out of the Nationals competition, declaring the whole dance contest as a "joke."

Is she being a sour loser?

[Spoilers ahead!]

Tensions rose during "Dance Moms" season 5 finale as the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) and its dancers, did not place well in the competition (by Abby Lee's standards).

During the awards ceremony, Abby Lee was furious when Maddie Ziegler only placed second in the competition's junior division, after Ava Cota from the Broadway Dance Academy (BDA), ALDC's newest rival.

"Dance Mom" Abby Lee was even far from impressed when Nia Frazier, who was competing in nationals for the first time, placed second in the teen division.

During the announcement, in which ALDC was declared second place in the overall scores, Abby Lee calls the whole competition "a joke."

"The first moment that man (announcer) opened his mouth, I knew this was a sh*t show and we were in big trouble," the dance instructor said. "I cannot sit there one more second and have our work that we put in all year long, all season, go down in flames like this."

As if that wasn't enough drama to fill the "Dance Moms'" Season 5 finale, Abby Lee tells her students to exit the stage. The announcer, who tried to make them stay, was shot down by the furious dance instructor.

"You can't hold children against their will in the state of California!" the ALDC fired at the announcer.

"My kids worked their butts off to be the best that they could be and then this happens? " Abby Lee told the camera crew afterwards. "The journey that we have been on has been overwhelming and I just opened a brand new studio here. What's going to happen with us? I am scared to death."

Earlier, Abby Lee hinted that "Dance Moms" may not make it past season 5. Could this be the end of the reality TV show?
