Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence recently made headlines and basically rocked the internet with photos of their vacation together.

But exactly how did the two end up jet skiing and building a human pyramid on board a boat?

During her appearance in "The Daily Show" on Monday, Amy Schumer recounted how she invited Jennifer Lawrence to go on a boat with her and her high school friends.

"Once a year I go away with all my girlfriends from high school," Schumer explained. "We went to the Hamptons, because they wouldn't let us go back to Martha's Vineyard."

"So we go to the Hamptons, and Jennifer and I have become friends," Schumer recalled. "And I was like, 'Oh, we're going on a boat tomorrow, you should come.' It was kind of hypothetical, and she was like, 'I think I'm coming,' and I was like, 'Oh my God.'"

In other words, the "Hunger Games" star basically crashed the vacation. But Schumer's high school friends were in no way offended, on the contrary, they were ecstatic!

"I filmed a video of me telling my friends-- and they're like nurses and teachers --that Jennifer Lawrence is coming on a boat with us tomorrow," the comedienne said. "So they're all screaming."

Asked what Amy Schumer thought of Jennifer Lawrence after their epic vacation, she said: "She's the coolest chick you'll ever meet. She's the best hang, she was like one of the gang."

Schumer added that Lawrence insisted on driving the jet ski, a photo of the moment was shared in the comedienne's Instagram account captioned: "JLaw #maniac."

"I said, 'I'll drive, I've got this,'" Schumer said. "And she was like, no, 'Hunger Games.'"

It's no surprise how both actresses got along very well almost immediately - they both share the same love for reality TV, both have the same potty-mouthed, uninhibited sense of humor and both everyone's "BFF goal."

Now, where are those vacation videos Schumer was talking about?
