'Arrow' Season 4 Release Date, Spoiler, And More: Guess Who's Coming Back In Sixth Episode

"Arrow" season 4 release date is barely two months away and the show is not yet done adding characters for its fourth run.

Actually, not really a new character. Someone who endeared to fans in the third season is returning for an episode.

TV Line confirmed Mama Smoak (Charlotte Ross) is set to appear in the sixth episode.

"Arrow" season 4 release date is on Oct. 7 and while the show is filling up Starling City with villains, the presence of Felicity's mom will offer comic relief.

"Fire up your Donna Smoak fist-pump GIFs, because Felicity's mom has booked another trip to Arrow's Starling City," the entertainment website started.

"TVLine has exclusively learned that fan favorite Charlotte Ross will reprise her role as Donna in the sixth episode of Season 4 (which kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 7). Thus far the nature of Mom's latest visit is under wraps, but I will go ahead and shamelessly spitball: Maybe it's time to give Dad a name?"

Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) is officially the girlfriend of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) when "Arrow" season 4 release date arrives.

They got together at the end of the third season finale after Team Arrow beat Ra's al Ghul. In this season, the couple's mission is to have stability in their relationship amid the threats the Emerald Archer face while protecting Starling City.

"We're going to avoid, for as long as we can, Felicity being kidnapped," executive producer Marc Guggenheim said in an interview with Zap2It last week.

"The relationship with Felicity is the thing he aspires to in terms of a more positive, healthy environment," he added. "But can [he] do it while also a vigilante? That's going to be the two things pulling at him throughout the year."

Also returning in the show are Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Paul Blackthorne, Willa Holland, and John Barrowman.
