Is there beef between Lady Gaga and Madonna? The "Bad Romance" singer recently said that she does not want to be compared to the "Like A Virgin" singer.

Lady Gaga, who previously had a cold-shouldered relationship with Madonna, recently told CR Fashion Book Magazine that she would rather be tagged as the next Iron Maiden rather than be compared to Madonna.

"They're one of the greatest rock bands in history, in my opinion," Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stephanie Germanotta, said. "Some people really don't know the importance of metal and the scope of it. Those guys were filling stadiums, and they still are. And it's because of the culture of the music, the poetry that's so powerful, that whenever the fans come together, they unite in the essence of what Iron Maiden is all about."

Then, going on to say, "I always used to say to people, when they would say, 'Oh, she's the next Madonna.' No, I'm the next Iron Maiden."

Lady Gaga and Madonna, as well as another pop star, Katy Perry, were previously rumored to be feuding against eachother.

This after Madonna called Gaga's hit song "Born This Way" a rip-off of her 1989 song, "Express Yourself."

"I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song ("Express Yourself")," Madonna said of "Born This Way."

"I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was... interesting," the diva added.

During the 2015 Met Gala, however, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Katy Perry were seen cozying up to eachother and even posing together for a photo.

"Dropping our single tomorrow," Perry captioned the photo, as if to dismiss the isse of their feud. The "California Girls" singer also re-posted the photo over Twitter captioned: "#breaktheinternet2k15."
