It seems only yesterday when Austin Mahone gushed about his girlfriend. He previously confirmed that his romance with Becky G was his first "real" relationship ever and even angered fans of his ex-flame, Camila Cabello.
Alas, things weren't meant to be for the "Dirty Work" crooner and the "Shower" singer. The PDA-filled young couple announced the end of their relationship just last week, with Mahone posting cryptic photos and captions on his Instagram.
"My nose ring fell out, and it won't go back in. oh well, I guess some things are just not meant to be..." one of his Instagram posts read. He later confirmed the news to Twist.
Becky G also turned to Twitter to assure fans that she was doing well after the break-up.
"I'm happy! I'm going on TOUR!! It's just stressful. But I promise I'm good :) love you guys," she wrote her followers.
Now that Austin Mahone is without a girlfriend again, is he starting to spread his wings to look for his next girl? After all, other recently single male singers, such as Nick Jonas and Zayn Malik, seem to be doing exactly that.
He seem to be doing well on his own as well, at least that's what he told FOX411 recently.
"I mean I'm chilling," he said told the news site when they caught up with him on the Teen Choice Award red carpet last Sunday, where he was nominated for Choice Male Hottie. "Just taking a break, hanging out- it's all good."
As if to prove his point, he arrived at the awards show without a date. According to Hollywood Life, he did try to hide from his ex, Camila Cabello, on the red carpet.
"He dipped his head and avoided all potential eye contact," the gossip site's source allegedly said.
