Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's feud is a long story - but people can't help but follow the development of this BFF turned enemies' drama!
Now, latest reports say that as a retort to Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" song, Katy Perry is writing her own chapter in their feud story with the aid of another Taylo-hater, Diplo.
The song is entitled "Crocodile Tears," which is said to be all about Swift's "fakeness."
"Katy knew Diplo would be just the man to produce Crocodile Tears for her and has now registered it," a source for The Sun reportedly said.
Swift has said her piece about Katy Perry's back-stabbing. This time around, Perry is breaking her silence.
"So far she's been very restrained with what she's said about Taylor in public but is now ready to put her side across via the song - which is all about being fake," the source said.
"It isn't yet known whether it would be released as a one-off or as part of Katy's fourth album, but she is keen for fans to hear it," the source added.
While Perry recently shut down rumors that a revenge song for Swift called "1984" was in the works, the "Firework" singer hinted that she would never stay silent forever in the Taylor Swift-Katy Perry feud story.
"If somebody is trying to defame my character," Perry told Billboard. "you're going to hear about it."
Previously, Taylor Swift summoned the help of her squad in her single, "Bad Blood" off her "1989" album, which is reportedly about Katy Perry's betrayal towards the Swift.
The video, which is nominated in the MTV VMA's featured some of Swift's BFFs such as Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldrige, Zendayah and Martha Hunt. In addition, there was Hailee Steinfeld, Hayley Williams, Ellie Goulding, Jessica Alba, Ellen Pompeo, Mariska Hargitay, Lena Dunham and Cindy Crawford.
The music video for "Bad Blood" was directed by Joseph Kahn, who also directed the music video for Swift's other song, "Blank Space."
