It might not be a surprised among fans if "Legends of Tomorrow" cast gets expanded even more before its pilot.
The latest addition in the show is Falk Hentschel who will play Hawkman. So far, the upcoming CW superhero show already has 10 main characters including big bad Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).
"The Flash" and "Arrow" stars Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell are also expected to make appearances.
Although "Legends of Tomorrow" cast line up seems stacked, there is nothing to be worried about when it comes to exposure of each character. Executive producer Phil Klemmer assures they will all appear in each episode.
"When you realize that you could basically have an entire episode of people arguing about what they're going to get for lunch, and once you get to a scene, you could live there forever because you'd hear their voices so distinctly, and their character dynamics and conflicts," he said in an interview during the Television Critics Association Press tour.
"I've never had a show like this where every script comes in at 80 pages...it's just, the amount of story that we can cover is limited by the amount of characters...you want to hear everybody's take on everything, which is truly a joy."
Earlier, Klemmer clarified that even if Hentschel is the newest member, he, too, is a series regular just like everybody else. The storyline they prepared for Hawkman and Hawkgirl, to be played by Ciara Renee, is from Geoff Johns' run in the comics.
"They're constantly fighting, and the fact that they're destined to be in love is something that seems impossible to her. That's the kind of sentimentality that we really strive to avoid on this show. The fact that they're going to be together someday, we try desperately at every moment to disprove that, this is going to be the one time that they decide to, like, shoot each other in the face."
Among the main "Legends of Tomorrow" cast members are Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Franz Drameh, and Victor Garber.
