‘Scream’ Actress Carlson Young Joins The ‘Grimm’ Season 5 Cast! Who Else Will Be Added?

There will be two new characters joining "Grimm" season 5 this October. One of them is reportedly "Scream" actress Carlson Young.

The other one, according to executive producer Jim Kouf, will be screaming as he comes out to the "Grimm" world.

According to Venture Capital Post, Young will be playing Selina Golias, "the lone survivor of an attack that is related to a Wesen feud." She will reportedly be pursued by a Wesen King who wants her dead after killing off her boyfriend.

The other new character, on the other hand, will be someone viewers were already introduced to last season.

Kouf revealed that Nick and Adalind's baby boy will be important in "Grimm" season 5.

"Nick makes it to the hospital just in time as Adalind is in labor with their child. As if Nick and Adalind's relationship wasn't tumultuous enough, the new baby has complications during birth that threaten Adalind's life," Kouf reportedly shared.

Previous reports suggested that the former mortal enemies will have to work together to protect and parent their child. This baby will also be a light in the supernatural cop's life, with his current situation pushing him towards seeking revenge for his mother and girlfriend's death.

Bound by a child together, could Nick and Adalind's relationship grow into something more in the next few episodes?

"Well, she's changed a lot. He's changed somewhat and you never know," showrunner David Greenwalt previously said in a previous interview, adding that there would be "some obligation there" for the two characters.

On the other hand, Claire Coffe told Showbiz Junkies that she didn't believe a romance would bloom between her character and David Guintoli's next season.

"No romantic exploits have ended anything other than horribly for her so far. So if there were any, hopefully they would be slow going," she told the site, adding that she really has to work hard for a second chance at being a mother now that she doesn't have the royals to distract her.

"Grimm" season 5 will be coming back to NBC on Oct. 30.
