Dunkin' Donuts Introduces Two New Chicken Sandwiches

Jun 05, 2013 02:21 PM EDT | By Staff Reporter

Dunkin' Donuts introduced a new breakfast doughnut sandwich earlier this week, and on Wednesday the company unveiled two new chicken sandwiches as additions to its lineup of bakery sandwiches.

Dunkin' Donuts' new chicken sandwiches join the current bakery sandwich lineup that includes Ham & Cheese, Turkey, Cheddar & Bacon, Chicken Salad, and Tuna Salad sandwiches, available on a French roll, bagel, or croissant, as well as Chicken Salad and Tuna Salad Wraps.

"The launch of our bakery sandwiches last year has helped make Dunkin' Donuts a destination of choice for afternoon and evening guests who are on the go and looking for a quick bite to eat. Continuing to provide a wide variety of all-day menu options is extremely important as we expand and cater to more and more busy people who are snacking more frequently throughout a clockless day," said  John Costello, President, Global Marketing and Innovation at Dunkin' Brands in a statement.

"We're excited to bring chicken, one of the most popular choices for lunch, to our menu in a uniquely Dunkin' way, and to expand the breadth of our guests' all-day choices."

Meanwhile, the new breakfast sandwich is composed of a fried egg, bacon and two glazed doughnuts which will begin selling at its restaurants this Friday.
