'Arrow' Season 4 Release Date, Spoiler, And More: Pilot To Feature Something Show Hasn't Done Before

When "Arrow" season 4 release date comes, expect to get blown away. The show has released a lot of details regarding the pilot episode of their fourth run.

However, the premiere will still be explosive.

Stephen Amell, who plays the title role, said there is a new element in the show that will surprise audiences.

"The fundamental part of the season, that nobody is really going to understand until they see the premiere, is that we do something in the premiere that we've never done in the history of the show," Amell explained at Dragon Con 2015 as reported by Comicbook.com.

"It does something for the remainder of the season that there's going to be a constant jeopardy in the show, even if times are good. It's a really interesting technique. I think it promotes a good story. I think it will pique people's interest."

What could it be? With "Arrow" season 4 release date just a month away, one can only get more excited. Among the new characters the show will introduce are Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) who will be this season's big bad, another villain Anarky, and new ally Mr. Terrific.

"Arrow" season 4 premiere episode will also deal with the events that took place last season, most especially Oliver's relationship with his teammates. He and Diggle have beef to settle according to executive producer Wendy Mericle.

"Dig has a huge bone to pick with Oliver when they see each other again, at the top of Season 4," executive producer Wendy Mericle said in an interview with Collider last month.

"We're gonna work that out. It's not gonna be easy. With what happened to Dig's family, it's really tough to buy that back, and Oliver is not gonna to be able to. Obviously, they can't be mad at each other forever, or what are we doing?"

The Star City people will see during "Arrow" season 4 release date is also somewhat devastating. Mericle said in separate interview the city has declined since Oliver left.

"When Season 4 opens the city has declined drastically despite the best efforts of Dig, Speedy and Black Canary," executive producer Wendy Mericle told TV Line.

"And with the arrival of Damien Darhk on the scene, it's obviously big stakes."

"Arrow" season 4 release date is Oct. 7.
