How Hot Of A Grandad Will John Stamos Be In ‘Grandfathered’? [WATCH] The Trailer Here!

| By

John Stamos already showed off his ability to take care of a baby in "Full House." Years later, he's going to be facing a much bigger responsibility in the "Grandfathered" trailer.

Stamos plays bachelor Jimmy Martino in the new Fox comedy. At first glance, he's got it all - a charming smile, a successful restuarant and not a single hair out of place.

However, his life gets turned upside down when Gerald (Josh Peck, "Drake And Josh") suddenly turns up and introduces himself as his long-lost son from a past fling.

The shock doesn't stop there. Not only did Jimmy suddenly gain a son, he also met Gerald's daughter, his own granddaughter.

Needless to say, the perpetual bachelor is not prepared for this role. However, that doesn't stop him from slowly warming up to the family that suddenly came crashing into his perfectly single life.

E! News reviewed John Stamos' "Grandfathered" trailer and it seems that the new Fox comedy holds some promise.

"'Grandfathered' might seem like a dopey concept at first sight, but it's surprisingly well executed and full of both funny moments and a lot of heart," reviewer Kristin Dos Santos said in the article.

The other members of the TV Scoop Team found the premise not "too cutesy" but "still super-cute." Plus seeing Stamos with another baby on screen again after "Full House" also adds to the excitement.

"John Stamos with a baby, Josh Peck with a baby, and-I repeat-John. Stamos. With. A. Baby. It's like two different parts of my childhood got together and grew up real nicely and I am very into it," Lauren Piester commented.

Chris Harnick also noted "Grandfathered" has a "strong cast and premise that could go the distance."

Meanwhile, grandparents gave the 51-year-old actor a bunch of hilarious advice on how to raise his newfound granddaughter in a new video released by Fox.

Check out how well John Stamos' grandparenting skills could be in the "Grandfathered" trailer! The new series will premiere on Sept. 29 at 8p.m. on Fox.
