The idea for expansion along the southern part of the east coast started in the Dallas, Texas Metro Area where the company has 22 locations for people to eat in and enjoy meals under 600 calories Restaurant News reported.

Mooyah currently exists in 11 states, and has visions to expand internationally while increasing the number of its franchises to about 65 Restaurant News reported. The company increased its locations from 25 to 48.
