Will Kit Harington Play Jon Snow In ‘Game Of Thrones’ For 2 More Seasons?

The man has spoken! Kit Harington's days as Jon Snow in "Game Of Thrones" is not over, according to the British heartthrob himself.

After all the speculation and fan theories (not to mention denials) that his character's death brought on after the fifth season's finale, Harington has finally addressed the mystery around his character's life or death in an interview with Belgian magazine, Humo.

A Redditor reportedly translated the interview from Belgian to English. Although it was supposedly for his upcoming period film, "Testament Of Youth," the interviewer couldn't help but ask about the traumatizing last scene last season as well as his continued involvement with the film.

"I often felt frustrated as well. I had to pass on amazing parts because I was attached to 'Game of Thrones.' So the show is like a double-edged sword to me: I owe a lot to it, but at the same time it has almost completely drained me," he shared to Humo, adding that he knows "exactly how long [he is] still under contract."

When asked how many seasons he's still in for, the "Pompeii" actor couldn't help but laugh.

"Nice try," he replied.

"I can't talk about that. Let's just say that 'Game of Thrones' will remain a part of my life for a while, I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over. One thing's for sure: The day I'm no longer on 'Thrones' is the day I'll bury myself in movie projects."

Seeing as he's still 28, with two more years until his 30th birthday, does that mean he will still be around for two more years at least?

Kit Harington's revelation, however vague, is giving fans enormous hope that Jon Snow isn't actually dead in "Game Of Thrones" despite the character's tragic end in season five. That particular cliffhanger started a whole lot of fans theories both logical and outrageous.

One theory suggested that the Lord Commander could be resurrected by Mellisandre. Another insisted that Jon was a warg like Bran and his soul travelled to the past to find out about his mother before entering his direwolf Ghost. A newer speculation says Jon Snow has a twin sister.

It seems that these theories indeed have basis thanks to Kit Harington's spoilers about Jon Snow's fate in "Game Of Thrones."
