Fans of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will surely be thrilled when they find out that there's still a chance that the former lovers will get back together.
The on-again off-again couple dated for three years, but they finally ended their relationship during the latter part of 2014.
The 22-year-old songstress got romantically linked to Zedd while the 21-year-old pop star allegedly hooked up with several women including Hailey Baldwin and Kylie Jenner. However, both confirmed that they are still single which gave hope to the Jelena fans.
During an interview with Elle, Selena Gomez was asked if she will ever get back together with Justin Bieber.
"I don't know!" the actress replied laughing.
She also admitted that they are genuinely good friends now. They were even spotted hanging out by the pool a few months ago.
"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that.... We grew up together. I think people want it to be different," she told the magazine. "We're too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no.... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner," the brunette beauty added.
Selena also confessed that she isn't looking for a new relationship right now.
"Finding somebody is not my main focus. I've dated people. I've been on a few dates, which is really exciting," she said. "But I've never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that."
"The Heart Wants What It Wants" hitmaker also admitted that she prefers finding a potential date in a natural setting like hanging out with the same crowd or meeting through mutual friends. That's how the former child star met Zedd, but unfortunately their relationship didn't work out.
While Selena Gomez keeps her door open for Justin Bieber, the Canadian pop star recently confessed that he hasn't moved on yet.
"I'm a relationship type of guy," he told the host of an Australian radio show. "I love to be in love, and I love cuddling. I love all that stuff, but I got my heartbroken, so I'm just trying to let that heal up."
