Fans can expect a growing list of cameos and guest stars to join the "Jane The Virgin" season 2 cast.
Kesha, Britney Spears and Mexican star Kate del Castillo are all coming by for a visit on the Emmy nominated show. However, there's one newcomer that had everyone squealing in delight even before his grand arrival last season.
Jane and Raphael's son, Mateo, will be making his re-appearance this Fall, hopefully in parents embrace rather than Sin Rostro's.
Although the newborn was kidnapped by the crime boss right from his mother's arms during the first season's finale, he won't be gone for long.
The missing baby is an early development but they get the baby back," Urman previously said, adding that they'll get the baby back "pretty quickly." However, "it sets other things in motion, what happened in that last scene. That is all part of the DNA of the second season."
The new set of stills for the new season show the "Jane The Virgin" season 2 cast worrying for Mateo, according to TVOvermind. Thankfully, this won't last long since according to previous reports, it looks like Jane's son might just get back in her arms by the second episode.
Gina Rodriguez, who plays the titular Jane, also posted several behind-the-scenes photos of her onscreen baby on Instagram.
Not only is Jane in love with her son, it seems like her real life counterpart has also fallen for Mateo's charms.
"On set with baby Mateo like...just hang here in between takes baby," she captioned a shot of herself with the baby on her lap. Another photo has Mateo nibbling on her hand, while a more recent one has him yawning during a morning shoot.
"When all your co star wants to do is eat you," the Emmy Award-winner captioned the latter.
