Did Christina Aguilera Skip ‘The Voice’ For Las Vegas Residency? Manager Says She’ll Be Busy

Christina Aguilera isn't coaching on "The Voice" this year but she won't be leaving the NBC singing competition all together.

According to the songstress' manager, Irving Azoff, who also manages Maroon 5 and No Doubt, she is getting ready to join the show again next year. However, she won't be idle as she sits this season out.

Despite rumors that she might be following on the heels of fellow '90s singing sensation, Britney Spears, the mother-of-two won't be taking on a residency in Las Vegas anytime soon.

"Not time yet," Azoff reportedly told VH1. "[Christina's] about to go back on 'The Voice,' about to finish her record, about to do another guest shot on 'Nashville' and the record's amazing."

Azoff also added that Aguilera still has "not peaked yet," adding that she's still in "the prime of her career."

"We'll tour the world, but we're not ready to sit down in Vegas," he continued.

On the other hand, US Weekly reported that Christina Aguilera took a break from "The Voice" to focus on her family.

"Christina is confirmed for Season 10 and has already signed her contract. She has been very vocal about not doing Season 9 to take a break to spend time with her family and her kids," an insider reportedly told the magazine."She always planned to flip them so she had a season off and she is not being replaced by Gwen. She will definitely be back the next season."

Gwen Stefani is currently taking her place on the spinning chair.

Meanwhile, KpopStarz reported that Aguilera will still continue to coach even on her break. She will reportedly be sharing her singing skills through MasterClass soon.

"I'm excited MasterClass has given me the opportunity to truly share all I have learned about my craft with the world," she said. "Coaching in this capacity not only gives me a chance to connect with my fans but lets me explore one of my true passions."

Christina Aguilera will be back on "The Voice" next season.
