Jim Carrey's Girlfriend Suicide: Cathriona White's Chilling, Sorrowful Posts Trending After Her Death

The world was left in shock after news surfaced that the girlfriend of comedian Jim Carrey, Cathriona White, has been found dead inside their Los Angeles home. Reports say she died of apparent suicide. She and Carrey allegedly broke up in Sept. 24.

TMZ reported White left a suicide note for her ex-boyfriend before signing off Twitter.

"Our sources say White left a suicide note addressed to Carrey which references their break up on Sept. 24. Cathriona tweeted on the 24th ... Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.

Law enforcement tells us they believe she died from an overdose of drugs -- pills were next to her body. We're told 2 friends found Cathriona last night when they went to check on her."

Jim Carrey's girlfriend suicide broke the hearts of many of her fans and of the actor. In the wake of it, her Instagram posts are now trending, sending chills to internet users. People who saw the posts think White already sent subtle warnings about her depression and how she badly needs help through her various Instagram posts.

One post is about a sorrowful poem that reads.

"Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,

"For I would ride with you upon the wind,

"Run on the top of the dishevelled tide,

"And dance upon the mountains like a flame. W.B. Yeats.

She also has a post bout "dealing with s***."

""I sometimes smile and act like nothing is wrong. It's called dealing with s**t and staying strong," read the post she shared two weeks ago, along with the hashtags 'life', 'deal' and 'smile'."

Jim Carrey has also released a statement regarding the suicide of ex girlfriend.

"She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled," he said. "My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
