Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact are slated for a release in October.
Ahead of the announced release date, Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is now available in the UK through Carphone Warehouse. The retailer offers the device at £33.50 a month on contract, Techno Buffaloreported. Android Community added that the phone will be available anytime soon at giffgaff and 02 "under pay-as-you-go or monthly contract plans." Other UK retailers like Handtec, EE, Clove, and Amazon.co.uk will receive stocks by next week.
Meanwhile, the phone has been also listed in some other regions in Europe like Sweden, Spain, Poland and Italy for the same price of just below $700 for the unlocked version.
The Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact will be officially released in Hong Kong as pre-order already started to roll out. Prices starts at $735 and $619 respectively for each phones.
As for its US release date, Sony hasn't made any announcements yet.
Specs-wise, has a 5.2-inch wide screen with 1080p Full HD resolution. Under the hood, is an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, with Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB worth of RAM. Its onboard storage is at 32GB that can be expanded through a microSD up to 200GB.
On the camera side, the Sony Xperia Z5 pulls of a 23 megapixels rear camera that can record videos of up to 4K resolution and a 5MP front camera.
Moving on to Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, it "sports a 4.6-inch wide display, equipped with scratch-resistant glass and oleophobic coating, with Triluminos display and Sony's very own X-Reality Picture Engine" and packs the same chipset as the Sony Xperia Z5.
It has also the same 23MP, but can only record videos of up to 2160p at 30 fps rate and "a 5 megapixels front camera for seflies and video calling, which can record videos of up to 1080p Full HD resolution," Vine Report wrote.
