""It's Called the Octopus" - When Annalise takes on a new client, the team must investigate a very high end sex club to get answers. Meanwhile, Annalise is still representing the siblings accused of killing their parents, but the case takes a turn for the worse when a new motive surfaces, and Wes teams up with an unexpected ally, on "How to Get Away with Murder," THURSDAY OCTOBER 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network."

Aside from Wes, another character blowing people's mind off is Jamke Fanssen's Eve who was part of the first major twist in the second season.

The new character, who was foreshadowed in the first season when Annalise gave a number to Nate to call for his new layer, turned out to be lesbian and she and Annalise had a colorful past. Series creator Peter Nowalk said introduction of Eve is meant to explore Annalise's past before she became the cold, strict law professor that she is now.

"Her husband was having an affair and was possibly a murderer, and it was a very dark version of Annalise," Nowalk told Business Insider.

"I kept thinking, 'I wonder what Annalise was like before all of this happened ... She wasn't always feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders.' So that's where the instinct came. I wanted to get a glimpse of who she was when she was our students' age. From there, came the character of Eve."

When asked if Janssen and her character will return, he said "there's a very good chance she'll come back."
