Flea Back In Recording! Red Hot Chili Peppers Actively Gears Up For Their New Album

While Red Hot Chili Peppers suffered from a minor setback when their bassist had an arm injury, everything is reportedly back in place after Flea announces that he's fully recovered.

The bassist to his social media page to announce that he is back to playing his bass and jamming with the band.

"Well boys and girls, my busted arm has finally healed to the point where I can play bass proper again," Flea posted recently. "RHCP back to jamz again next week!!!"

After celebrating their 31st anniversary, the American rock band is now moving forward with their new album.

While the release date has yet to be set, band drummer Chad Smith, discussed what fans could expect in their new record.

"And we wrote a bunch of songs that way," Smith told Rolling Stone.

"And we're now going to try another method that will be really challenging for us and will bring new, exciting results for the band. We've written and recorded in a way that we've never done before, so the record is going great. We all have high hopes that it's going to take off and we're going to do something very different and unique for the Red Hot Chili Peppers."

Furthermore, Chad Smith revealed that they have been working with Danger Mouse to produce their new album.

"We've got lots of songs, and we're working with an unnamed producer who is really challenging us to find new ways to come up with new music," Smith revealed. "We've done the 'guys get in the room and jam out songs, everybody playing together all at once' thing."
