The singing partners first caught the public's attention as members of the "The Sing Off" champion. However, they decided to create a Youtube channel, "Superfruit," where they share personal Vlogs, covers and other awesome stuff that do not necessarily have anything to do with their Grammy-winning group.
They made their first hip-hop cover video last June but a lot of viewers were so amazed by it that several followers asked them to create another one. Four months later, they finally fulfilled their promise.
This time, they also included popular songs like "Nae Nae," "Turn Down For What," "All Of The Lights," and Rihanna's "B*tch Better Have My Money" using backing tracks from well-known musicals like "Wicked," "Lion King," "Little Mermaid," "Phantom Of The Opera," "Annie," "Sweeney Todd," "West Side Story" and more.

Meanwhile, Hoying and Degrassi are promoting their new album together with Pentatonix members Kristin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin Olusola. The RCA-produced record, which will be filled with their original songs this time, is slated for release this Friday, Oct. 16.
Hoying previously promised fans some amazing songs "from chill, soulful stuff to upbeat, poppy craziness."
"We've proved we can sing and we can arrange, now we want to prove we can write," Hoying previously shared about the album. "We really wanted to push ourselves. We want to establish ourselves as original artists and show that we have something to say!"
